This online course encompasses an introduction to working the horse in long reins, as well as an in-depth discussion on the four main classical principles. Tack, safety, body language, and appropriate body positions are discussed. Over the four week course, basic work in transitions, the turn on the forehand, reverse pirouette, turn on the haunches, and walk pirouette will be taught. The private option for the course entails one-on-one instruction. Each week, a video can be submitted for assessment and to go over any problems. A 20-30 minute lesson can take the place of the video assessment to go over finer details if requested. Discussion and Q&A available at all timed during the course.
